Marco Santaniello is an international pop graphic artist based around the world. Pop, for him, means being very close to the community and to the people, at the basis of the idea of his art lies the belief that, ultimately, we are all the same. He began his artistic journey with portraits; anyone can be a superstar in front of his "rainbow wall". However, the beginning of his artistic career began in the world of fashion. Journalist, creator of the T-Skirt, patented by him - a t-shirt that is worn backwards as if it were trousers -, unauthorized fashion shows in places such as London, Paris and Milan, and other authorized ones such as those of the Williamsburg Fashion Week End in Brooklyn NY. He began creating graphics, especially portraits, in 2010, also becoming the artist of the month of April of one of the most important fashion sites in the world, Business Of Fashion. Com, followed by the creation of the advertising billboard for MODA PRIMA at Pitti Immagine, in Stazione Leopolda in Florence. Italy, The artist, in the meantime, evolved his style, dedicating himself also to Urban Landscapes, starting to photograph all the corners that caught his attention, a great "walker", a Flaneur, like Ana Zavadil, art critic Brazilian art, he defines it in one of his critical texts. His Landscapes represent cities and countries he has visited having traveled extensively and lived in different countries for a long time. His artistic sphere also includes a series of "satirical" works to show his point of view on the world and today's society. The works created are usually one-of-a-kind pieces and editions of 3 (from 2024 the artist will only create one-of-a-kind pieces) and they all start from a photograph on which vector and coloring work is carried out, using two well-known graphics programs. They are then printed on canvas or other media. To create one of your pieces it takes at least/minimum about 130 hours on the computer, then it depends on the amount of details present, you can even reach a higher number. His career, in exhibition terms, began in 2010 with some group exhibitions in the Tortona area of Milan, continuing in 2011 in Montreal, Canada and the first important exhibition in Manhattan, New York in the Chelsea neighborhood in 2013, continuing in Porto Alegre, Seoul, Beijing in the famous 798 district, also reaching the goal of a first solo exhibition in a museum, in China, in Yiwu in June 2017 and the year before he had also collaborated with Belstaff UK for the FUORI SALONE of the Milan Design Week. It is also important to mention his 3-month solo exhibition at the LG Science PARK LGU+ in Seoul in 2019, in South Korea and the one in Mexico, in San Miguel de Allende in 2022. In addition to the city museum of Yiwu, another work by Marco is also part of the collection of the MACRS (Museum of Contemporary Art of the Rio Grande du Sol) in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
